I think the qoto.org being added to someone's naughty list thing is biting me in the friends' list. My mate Steph @vollans can't see me despite the connection and waving and wotnot. What to do, what to do? 🤔

You can't please everybody. 
so the way around that is I host x number of fake people or X number of real friends /family to get around those that block servers with only one user.
Any way it goes, that’s better IMO than being on someone’s naughty list for no obvious reason.
I’m also now set up on mastodon.world and if no one can figure out why Qoto has been put on the naughty list and get it back off I’m probably going to bounce over there for a minute then decide to stay or just set up usernames I don’t care about to lurk.

@hilarybaumann @vollans it's true that we can't connect (yet) and it's true that somebody put qoto on their bad boy list (though no-one seems to know why!) but we have yet to prove that the two things are connected. And to be fair, even if they are you could find your own server unjustly labelled in the same way I guess!
