@design_RG i'm defensive atm. and i'm also pretty hurt because of my previous experiences here. i really wanted fedi to be a positive, healthy, safe space for me. but it wasn't, it still doesn't feel like it has any semblance of a capability to be that for me. so atm, i think not being is the best option. i really love this space though. i don't care about the speech, we'll argue and stuff all day. but there is harm here, validation of terrible, unspeakable harm, and boycotting the platform is the best response i can give to that. if you think i'm wrong still, then i'm still listening, because the past 4-5 years have been really fucked up, and a lot on fedi over the past 2 years or w.e. didn't help
