"The Best of 2022 MEGA LIST encompasses the top 25 albums of 2022, as determined by the ears you trust and the voices you love, the tastemakers and playlist curators of the WXPN airstaff."
@jfred @BrentToderian If we buried 676, sure, canal it up.
Plus, with all this climate change, we might need a way to push extra water from Center City somewhere.
@chu Focus on policy. That gas guzzling jet and car might go away with enough taxes and charges and removal of CO2 credits. Find possible solutions. It's not a win-lose thing. It's a let's do something thing.
"The writers behind Pocket’s Best of 2022 stories share the stories they couldn’t stop thinking about."
@obi @lucifargundam I know someone whose uses their cat's name as their password. Getting THAT person to change their passwords to something unique would really make me feel better!
Do me a favor and get more cyber-secure in 2023 for free! How?
Go to haveibeenpwned.com and enter your email. If you see a site on that list, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD to a new one.
Use Bitwarden like @obi suggests for new passwords. Thanks Obi!
@obi My antivirus program found 31 leaks (!!!) Most are old, but one was from 2020.
But yeah, haveibeenpwned.com is pretty good for a free site!
@obi Only thing is that the site brought up some REALLY old breaches. 2012? That's a LONG time to have a stolen password.
@alyssam_infosec @gingerjet And then there is this take:
"Southwest’s silver lining: Memories of airline debacles fade fast"
Which is probably what they will do since it's the least amount of work and fits their biz model.

@obi "Pwned in 26 data breaches and found no pastes"
Good news is that all of my passwords are different. I hope!
@alyssam_infosec @gingerjet I think SWA will try to slow play this out. PR statements, Blue Ribbon panels, LOTS of vouchers. Maybe fire a few execs. But no major changes. Just wait until the economy improves or ticket demand goes up.
@alyssam_infosec @gingerjet I think other people have pointed out what to fix. They need new planes, new IT systems, etc. Can they be profitable that way? Is the only reason they were profitable was just being cheap and lucky that this 'black swan event' didn't happen until now?
I don't think they rebuild at all. Changing the biz model takes ALL of the profit out of the business.
To my Texas electrical gird analogy, the massive failure caused billions in damage and over 100 deaths...still there! Governor...still there!
@alyssam_infosec @gingerjet I have not found any evidence to support the claim "Southwest will fix this and the systems that lead up to it".
Here's one huge thing...non-refundable tickets. Literally embedded in SWA's DNA is a way for every flight to be profitable even when you're not on it. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
"I started as a YouTuber after graduating from Howard University. I was on a Fulbright scholarship teaching English to children in Durban, South Africa, and wanted to share my experiences because it's rare for Blacks and other underrepresented minorities to earn this scholarship."
@evacide That, and removing data centers probably doesn't help matters much...
And if you run into issues, try the tips in this video:

You can see a copy of the alleged memo here.
@alyssam_infosec One of the things that I would like to see is a more robust train system. Maybe we can connect these airports so if your plane can't land in Denver, just land in Boulder and catch the train down. This is not complex stuff!
"So she took it, and started a leadership institute, where she continued working through the age of 107."
