Maybe we need to force all ways with more than one lane to have all of them narrow enough to fit small cars, and only one wide enough for big cars.

I totally agree.
And it is not only bloating.
Many people think that unused features, if untouched, don't require effort. As a developer, I can guarantee that's totally, absolutely wrong.
OSs change, underlying libraries change, protocols change, security needs change. This means features already implemented require changes and testing from time to time. If you have many features, that adds up to a huge amount of time, to the point that most of your time may end up going to keeping existing features alive.
I agree that removing the RSS button was a terrible mistake, too. In fact, I think it should have been totally extended and overhauled; there are RSS clients (some are browsers) that give you a much, much better experience than Firefox did. I wasn't using it because it was very lacking, not because I didn't want it.

El 78% de los jóvenes que acceden a la compra de una vivienda, compran vivienda usada, no nueva, y esas compras están exentas de IVA.
Del 22% restante, los más desfavorecidos, los que compran vivienda de protección oficial, ya pagan solo el 4%. Tampoco les beneficia esto en nada.
Entonces, a quién beneficia? El comprador joven de vivienda nueva tiene un perfil socioeconómico alto o medio-alto, con estudios universitarios, núcleo familiar con dos trabajos estables y dos sueldos superiores a 2.500€ netos cada uno, es decir, un total de más de 5000€ netos mensuales.
En resumen, reducen impuestos al 20% de la población más rica y dejan que se joda el 80% de la población más pobre.

I’ve been testing a theory: many people who are high on #AI and #LLMs are just new to automation and don’t realize you can automate processes with simple programming, if/then conditions, and API calls with zero AI involved.
So far it’s been working!
Whenever I’ve been asked to make an AI flow or find a way to implement AI in our work with a client, I’ve returned back with an automation flow that uses 0 AI.
Things like “when a new document is added here, add a link to it in this spreadsheet and then create a task in our project management software assigned to X with label Y”.
And the people who were frothing at the mouth at how I must change my mind on AI have (so far) all responded with resounding enthusiasm and excitement.
They think it’s the same thing. They just don’t understand how much automation is possible without any generative tools.

Data yo creo que ha envejecido mal. En su época, te podías creer un poco un personaje así, pero hoy en día hay que hacer un gran esfuerzo para no darse cuenta de que el leit motiv del personaje (no entiende las emociones humanas) es algo que nunca va a pasar, porque ChatGPT pilla esas cosas sin mayor problema. Ya de antes era infumable que teniendo un millón de historias de ficción y de tratados de psicología en la cabeza no pillara según qué cosas.
Riker el problema que tiene es que originalmente la idea era que los Borg mataran a Picard y que Riker le sustituyera; pero como eso no pasó, el personaje se quedó sin una razón para existir.
Worf, sobre todo y ante todo, es la ventana al mundo de los klingons, que es la mar de interesante. Lo malo es que apenas salen.
A Picard aún no le han acabado de sacar brillo; hay capítulos posteriores en los que se sale.
ST: TNG
Hasta ese capítulo, es una serie más bien aburridilla, porque están empeñados en hacer una serie coral.
A partir de ahí se centran más en Picard, y eso le da bastante más vidilla.
La verdad es que los otros personajes son más bien petardos. Picard es el único que realmente vale la pena.
Pasa un poco como en DS9, donde el único personaje realmente interesante es Quark.
