Entiendo la intención con la que algunas personas lo proponen, pero no me parece que pedir autenticación y acabar con el anonimato en internet vaya a servir contra el discurso de odio o el acoso.

Solo hay que ver lo protegidas que están ciertas personas esparciendo odio y mentiras con nombre y apellidos y lo caro que le ha costado a otra gente poner algo desafortunado un día. Veo que reforzaría a los de siempre y pondría en peligro la existencia de discursos críticos o disidentes.

Todo el mundo sabe que ponerse un nick para insultar no es ser anónimo: en un proceso judicial, te identificarán por la IP. Si lo que se plantean es algo como pedir el DNI para abrir una cuenta, es un pifostio técnico y burocrático inviable (y siempre podrías usar VPN para hacerlo desde otro país).

Quienes difunden odio de manera masiva tienen nombres, apellidos y a veces hasta asientos en parlamentos.

There is no positive side of advertising. It is just dangerous enemy propaganda that should be resisted & destroyed.

Advertising should be viewed through the same lens as code injection is in computer security (when an attacker gets a computer system to run a program that it actually shouldn’t and that usually benefits the attacker).

The point of an advertisement is literally to inject the idea of a need into your mind, a need that you didn’t already have before (“You do actually need a new car.”), or a more specific version of an existing need (“You’re need food? You should really eat this!”).

It’s an attack on the integrity of your very being and it should be defended against.
