If anyone’s wondering why nazism happened, all they have to do is watch Fritz Lang’s Die Nibelungen.
Just to make myself clear, it’s not a political movie or anything, but if that’s how Germans saw themselves and others, it really explains everything.
@freemo No, I just had to finish the movie. I watched the first part about a month ago. Now I know that the conclusion is terrible too.
@freemo But, that said, I was also looking earlier today into buying a good version of Wagner’s Ring cycle. I have never listened to it in its entirety and I’m curious.
