Please, recommend accounts (🇪🇸 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 ) that are in the following interests:
- Technology (programming, etc)
- Music (production, dj, etc)
- Gaming (game development, indie games, etc)
I find it quite hard to develop a circle of connections in Mastodon. However, still looks promising.

@abde you will have Techs eventually. I didn't start with them either. I agree that it's satisfying to mix on real decks. Also been recently playing on other friend's equipment with their digital controllers - it sure is different.
@abde
I'd agree that develop sure a certain vinyl touch from not starting with techs. I also use Serato to control FLACs and mp3s with time-coded records & that has also worked well as long your laptop is decent. My friend's controllers use the same software, so I already know the interface.
I've seen #DJMarky rock these Rane controllers in his stream and I would love to get a pair of these https://www.rane.com/twelve-mkii
@abde those are definitely fire 🔥 I don't know anything about DVS. I had 2 techs and a Rane TTM56 mixer. Just found a video demo'ing this older but solid mixer - https://vid.puffyan.us/watch?v=P_St49hjcGI
Consider picking up a SL3 Serato Scratch Live box to plug in between your turntables and your mixer and then you can play both vinyl and digital tracks. I'm rocking one which works well for me and ya can grab one for cheaper than a digital controller to work into your current setup.
@abde It doesn't look like the Rane SL boxes are supported by #mixxxdj

@joshbdoc Yup, I am also thinking about having a DVS system. I already saw the RANE controllers and I got curious, but maybe I will buy a more conventional controller, I would like to broaden my horizons :P
But those are fire tho
