Pan into fire springs to mind. Meta really good at slurping your personal info. How long before we see Theads buttons popping up on web pages.
Come on Guardian. Do a mastadon button instead.

Shower room taking ages but taking shape, now looking for plasterer.
New building regs meant had to put loads of insulation in flat roof. I foolishly took old ceiling down which is one of the thermal elements, new regs mean you have to attempt to get standard up to a new build. Not easy in a 1970's extension with cold flat roof :(
Hello guys,
in case you read any new Guardian articles that you would like to share with other readers, just post it on #mastodon, mention @guardian@mstdn.social and please add a content warning to the post. Then I will happily boost them!
As a friendly reminder: this is an unofficial account and as of now the Guardian has no official account at mastodon. I created this account for all people who (like me) miss their news feeds on Mastodon.
Thanks a lot for your support!
Greetings

#introduction
By trade I am a software engineer though have been doing other stuff for a while now.
My current other stuff is turning the former into the latter using the design done in #sweethome3d.
So my current interest is very much #diy . Never done this before but I think the next step is to saw the bath in half with angle grinder. should be fun.
I also like #cooking as I am currently a house husband.
@skanman But then I didn't have a twitter account, or facebook account either. This is my first foray into social media, so things are different for me personally.
I have no problem with company boards running companies to make money. That is what they are for, making money for shareholders. However some directors seem to treat companies as there personal piggy banks and fiefdoms. The last board actually did a fantastic job of making money for shareholders :)
Great way to lose your most talented staff 😩
#musk [working conditions](https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/16/elon-musk-gives-twitter-staff-deadline-to-commit-to-being-hardcore).
Great way to stress out those that remain.
Well that was quite easy, plumbed mastodon into my website and put a link to it in my bio (and got a green tick).
I am new to all this tooting. I was never on the bird but was drawn to this by the open source nature of it all and the lack of a billionaire owner. Now I guess, just need to think of something to say :)
