I have now gone through airport security with analogue camera(s) and film 5 times and the mixed experience and reactions every time is kind of fascinating.

YEG: no issues the first time, flabbergasted at first the second

YXX: no issues, just "oh cool"

YCC: “if the swab comes back positive we will have to x-ray it” and also required proof it turns on. Good thing I didn’t bring a Brownie or my Solida folding camera loaded with film.

SAN: no issues

Gotta love being the last one to find out about everything. I take that back. Last one to be *told* about everything.
