It was a delight to hear @gruber and @glennf talk about iCloud Keychain on the latest The Talk Show. Glenn mentioned a really cool trick I want to repeat: in Safari, if you right-click or tap-and-hold on a TOTP setup QR code, you’ll get an option to set up a code generator. :)

It took me five years of syncing without tests to realize that I needed them.

Who knows, I might disagree with myself in another five years, but for now, I love testing, and you should too.

If you’re an independent developer, you likely don’t have a ten person team dedicated to testing your app for eight hours a day.

Even if you’re at a big company, there’s a good chance you have zero manual QA resources.

Automated tests are your only hope for quality.

Being set up to test like this can help you fix bugs much more quickly.

When you find a bug, you can set up a test case to reproduce that exact bug.

This is much easier than trying to reproduce the bug manually by using your app.
