@lucifargundam@qoto.org I'm going to blaspheme a bit here, so I fully expect to take a facepunch, but if you take a sirloin steak; flatten it out til it's as thin as you can get it; coat it in crushed garlic pepper and paprika; then fry it off 30 seconds each side, pull it out and slice it in to thin strips and combine with diced tomato, salsa, cheese and lettuce; use that as a filling... dear god... heaven in a tortilla... SO JUICY!

@anotherkiwiguy
I haven't tried that, but will definitely note that down for the future!

People who aren't open to changing how food is prepared/eaten will find it hard to discover new way to enjoy food. Then again, I add my own toppings to cheese pizza- and fold $1 oven-baked square pizzas into tacos/calzones.

@lucifargundam@qoto.org YES! Absolutely! Gotta try foods in different ways, otherwise it gets really samey and boring. I wish we had calzones here. I miss them so much. I was thinking about making my own, using the dough out of my bread maker. Now that I've figured out how to make a really soft and fluffy dough, I think I could pull it off. 😃

@anotherkiwiguy Wow, um... when are you going to do a cookout so we can join in? :blobreachdrool:

@trinsec@qoto.org @lucifargundam@qoto.org Every chance I get! I also make "Manwiches".

Extra large Hamburger buns, lightly toasted with butter. Normal hamburger fillings, including pickle; lettuce; tomato; cheese; tomato relish; grated carrot; grated cheese; mayo; fried egg; grated carrot and beetroot.

Meat consist of fatty ground beef; pepper; garlic; rosemary; paprika; mirin; tomato sauce(ketchup); cumin; egg; bread crumbs and salt. Hand mixed, pressed to about a hand span wide, and about an inch thick. Slow cooked in foil first, then finally placed on the grill/griddle to crisp up the outside.

Throw it all together on the bun and BAM! Manwich!
