This isn't news. Ancient Greeks could have told you this.

Although this is a great idea, from what I've seen of the result, it's underwhelming in presentation.

I used to not care much about which words people use re: discord, but with the twitter/masto meta, the amount of people who are truly convinced that discord servers are decentralized and people who go "oh like discord" as soon as they see anything decentralized, even when it is in no way even slightly similar to discord, has pretty much convinced me that discord calling their guilds "servers" was very much a deliberate choice, and long term, a disaster for the average person's perception of the internet

Even though I will.ost likely never use it- I hope it success because I like options.

@fluffy @GNUxeava
To what, kde? I don't even use either unless under niche cases.

Dishonored Sound track: Honor for all
youtu.be/gFQwn6M1RMc

Song Name Jon Licht and Daniel Licht -- Honor for All

LYRICS
Oh well, honor for all
Of the big and the small
Well the taller they stand
Well the harder they fall
We live for today
But we die for the next
With blood in our veins
And the air in our chest
So we step into war
With our hearts on the line
Dirt on our boots
It shakes free over time

The music it fades
The violin slows
The darkness it rises
As the sun goes

Love is a distant aroma at best
A withering smile that's stuck deep in your vest
The night air it wraps its fingers around
Your body it shakes from the now distant sound
Oh, the sound of her voice
A sweet symphony
Played over and over
Until you are free

The music it fades
The violin slows
The darkness it rises
As the sun goes

Can you feel the new day rising
Climbing up the east horizon?
They can't hold us
Now we'll fight through
Each and everyone will start new

Well, we shall not stumble
No, we shall not fall
We shall not crumble
No, we shall stand tall
With death it will come
As sure as a night
But we will not run
No, we live but to fight
With blood on our hands
And dirt on our knees
We tear at the ones
Who brought the disease

The music it fades
The violence slows
The darkness it rises
As the sun goes

Can you feel the new day rising
Climbing up the east horizon?
They can't hold us
Now we'll fight through
Each and every one will start new

Can you feel the new day rising
Climbing up the east horizon?
They can't hold us
Now we'll fight through
Each and every one will start new

>>With writing you can communicatie about traditions, religions (which are also traditions), recipes, people, politics, love, life, sex, etc. Neither of those usages for writing, turns you in whatever you are describing or writing about (story, letter, whatever), it can make you, at best, part of a tradition or a play or a book/short story.
<<Many people may wish to identify as the vehicle of the traditions- but that was not my point. My apologies again for not being clear earlier.
>>Then again I am not sure of what you are asking.
<<I was only pondering if you might have a more philosophical depth of the definition. Do not worry about it.

@dehhaagh
>>I'm not sure what you are asking, English is not my native tongue.
<<My apologies for my ignorance.
>> If you are asking if by writing, I have become a tradition, no.
<< No, I was asking about how you would more-precisely define 'tradition' in a philosophical context.
>>But I do participate in a tradition which is writing. Though I do not consider writing in itself a tradition as it (both writing and language actualy) evolve over time, were traditions do not, because they are ritualistic in nature and most are a snapshot of things from the past. Writing is a vehicle that can describe traditions.
<<I believe it is writing down the traditions of the past to be a tradition in itself. Originally, oral traditions were the primary medium- written had since then become the new tradition. Perhaps, writing can serve as a duality of tradition and vehicle of tradition?

@Ytrezar

<< Qoto is the place for you, then.

>>I like learning about what makes tiny lungs strong & healthy. I call this and I want to help born in .
<< Commendable, I know nothing of this subject matter.

>>Should we call this ?
<<Would rather you didn't.

Welcome to and hopefully you'll find what you're looking for in the federation. Viewer discretion is advised.
