Current era democracy looks terrible tbh- regardless from what angle you stand.
It's gotten to the point that things like this are as predictable as someone you may passively know of getting shot every other day in over-populated, low-income metropolitan cities.

A general resignation-like attitude that's been a growing face of developers lately. From what I've observed.
When people take the easy way out, they lose the ability to do so later. The argument of it being tedious enough to dismiss as not a concern is reminiscent of the attitude towards preferring fastfood over homemade meals.
