@freeschool
I don't frequently post either topic on a daily basis, though I will admit to them taking up a notable portion of my published content. I'll look into expanding again once things calm down over here.

@Mehrad
My gas bill is near-zero because it's too hot to heat anything up. My electric bill is high because I'm trying to stay cool.

I'll be trying to insulate my abode this weekend.

Want to trade? For my next trick, I'll be scrambling eggs on the asphalt!!

Imagine being so old that everything you were waiting to arrive is old enough to be a relic in a museum. Forever out of reach of you anyway.

I don't need this because I don't use any of the supported protocols, but if you're the sort of person that would be interested in XMPP bridges, I just heard about Slidge:

It’s a late start to today’s subjects today but let’s start with #thefairseries and take a trip to the printer! Featured here, two printing press, one of a smaller desktop size for making pamphlets and one much larger that can handle wide formats. The larger press was in use printing fair posters while I was in the building, and pamphlets around the desk indicated that the smaller press had been in use as well this weekend.

For more #photos of historic tech and other elements of the fair, check back at #drybeer or the series tag daily. In a few minutes there will be some more of the lighthouse series as well.

@immychan
and yet we'll find out what the narrative is in the Netflix sequel :)

@immychan

Released to critical acclaim, Chicken Run was also a commercial success, grossing over $224 million, becoming the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film in history.[10] A sequel titled Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is scheduled to be released in 2023 on Netflix.[11]

Looks like a lot of arcade-style games I've played on Steam marketplace.

@Acer
I can't recall either game offhand but will look into it.

@enigmatico it _was_ a real thing. It was to keep homeless from sleeping on benches. The problem became that non-homeless couldn't enjoy sitting the benches.
