The normies we have using the net today were brought in by corporations using the internet to make it easier to reach out to people.

Outside of commercialism normies, you indeed of the more-so STEM-inclined peeps who actually _try_ to 'puter.

Gotta reflect on your compsci history 101.

Computers become normie things when they were more affordable and thus easier to access. Before then, they were strictly expensive tools.

Um, hello? It's the 22nd century. Breakfast is 24hrs. Someone's just being lazy on the grill.

Too bad you couldn't save it and sell it. Objects like bee/wasp nests go for good money if intact.

This is also common in some European cultures. Overall, I think the concept of large group meals seems pretty common across the globe.

More families should be doing this- but it seems that's become harder to do in recent generations.

You're not going to get it decommissioned by the UN for crimes against humanity?

Family meals were important occasions that functioned for more than just eating. They were regular bonding times for everyone to reconnect after doing their own things.

There were never leftovers despite being so big a family. Because we grew up always being told to make more than enough for everyone. If you were hungry after hours, you had leftovers.

Nothing brings people together quite like food does.

I didn't know you owned a Ford Pinto! I'm surprised it's survived this long!

Well good thing I'm not a person, but an inevitable compilation of cosmic paradigms that govern reality! You can't refuse me now :)

@stux

I once made a Drupal module that converted videos to libcaca conversions.

No one ever cares about my junk.
