For those of you using youtube-dl, Google is being scummy and it's throttling the connection to their servers to those using it.

For now, the workaround to make it work is to switch to yt-dlp, which is a fork of youtube-dl.

Interesting fact of the day: The term "patching" software originates from the fact that you would literally patch holes in early hole punch input in order to fix an issue. Attached is a picture with such patches on it from the Harvard Mark I computer.

This is not true.

In reality, all sponsored suggestions are given offline by default, meaning that no additional user data is sent anywhere. Online suggestions are strictly opt-in.
