@lopeztel @efftoyz I love my Pro because its so light that I can bring it around anywhere to do my writing and coding... Even inspecting Bluetooth packets in the airwaves on a train 😀

An Arm64 notebook like Pinebook Pro is wonderfully different from Intel notebooks... It sips less power, so it won't get hot, doesn't need a fan, and can last at least 6 hours on battery.

(That's the future of new Arm64 MacBooks! 😀)

I used to think Pinebook Pro was sluggish... Then I realised my Debian Mate apps were actually running in 32-bit mode. After upgrading to 64-bit everything just flies! 😀

@lopeztel summoning @lupyuen with success story. This epic guy develops software using #pinebookpro and makes a lot of sexy screenshots.

@ubports @PINE64 Wasn't expecting a Segmentation Fault in the GTK Go app... Maybe it's the funny PC address 0xffff... Will try again with a simple GTK program in C.

Yep prefers apps... But I'm stubbornly resisting the urge 🙂 docs.ubports.com/en/latest/app

ARM wants to transfer its IoT divisions to Softbank so it can focus on chips | Engadget

@redlaserbm i've had made an account on another instance a while ago, but quit the whole thing soon after, as the instance was regrettably more of an echo-chamber and filtering many parts of the fediverse. i'd rather decide what is filtered for myself, out of principle.

up until a few days ago when i was fed up with twitter seemingly consisting of ads and people throwing shit at each other. then i was browsing stuff by @lupyuen , read the about page of qoto.org and thought i'll give it another try. i'm rather pleased to far :)
