@marathon0 The magpie (Pica pica pica) is very curios and beautiful up close. I think can easily be trained/domesticated with treats. However, a bit big in my opinion.

Yes I've heard the magpie can be friendly to humans as a pet. Are they considered a crow sub species?

@marathon0 I am not an expert on clades, but around here (Sweden) they are "crow birds" (1 out of 5 around here; Raven, Crow, Rook, Jackdaw, Magpie).
