Since I am blogging with no interest in payment or building a digital newsletter while keeping cost as close to zero as possible, I eschewed Substack and self-hosted Wordpress. Today I said goodbye to Twitter (at least until things... doubtful... improve), and I think #TwitterMigration will increase, so another introduction!
I'm an information science professor who researches #techethics #aiethics #onlinecommunities #hci #cseducation and #fandom (also, at least once, all of those things at the same time!)
I also do a lot of science communication (and occasional silliness) on #TikTok (@professorcasey) and my #YouTube (CaseyFieslerPhD) is full of #gradschool advice!

Mastodon relay functions download all subject matter posts from relay server/instances.
I think the user algorithms add enough general posts.
So, I'm working on adding something that will just grab #Native #NativeMastodon #Indigenous #IndigenousMastodon posts from other selected server/instances.
