@chris_spackman @ericcurts @edutooters Most districts vet extensions before rolling them out to school owned Chromebooks. The real issue isnโt student devices that get wiped and seldom have personal info. Itโs school principals and teachers who save confidential info, reports, and student data without clear protocols in place. There are tools that can be used to mitigate those vulnerabilities but the real challenge is cybersafety and security. It has gotten better.
