CLERGY PROMOTING SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENTALISM

Yes, you read that correctly! A forward-looking group of clergy members are pushing back against the anti-science movement that has been gathering steam. They believe science can help us in our fight against Covid, climate change, racism, homophobia, transphobia and much more. They also believe that their perspective on religion is dramatically different from the extreme fundamentalism that is being used to tar all religions.

They’ve designated the weekend of 10-12 February 2023 as Religion and Science Weekend and will promote the compatibility of religion and science working to create a healthier, greener and more equitable environment for all.
