I am literally a deacon and I am literally trying to convert you.
Repeating that back to me and adding a sarcastic tone is not insightful.

@Eris you may assign any tone you want to my writing, I don't mind

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius
I try to assign the one you intend. I do not think I have made any errors.
@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

Are you going to seriously claim that you were *unironically* saying "Yes pastor, I convert?"
I don't know why you tell these extremely goofy lies.

@Eris You seemed to have a problem with the tone and not intent, so I wanted to help you. If it is intent that you are after than I'm afraid that there is nothing for you but faith in this matter.

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @Eris @bonifartius I thought you were the one who knew how to talk to people? Surely you understand the relationship between tone and intent. They're not independent.
@namark @Eris @bonifartius You explicitly did when you said Eris and I don't know how to talk to people and we are mentally disabled as a result.

@AR-15 ah I see, you didn't notice I'm snarky, understandable

@Eris @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius
That seems pretty psychopathic to me. You enjoy intentionally irritating others for no reason but your own pleasure?

@Eris It's a writing style, I don't care if anyone reads it, other than for them to meet me with the their own style, and have a little bit of an argument in between.

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

1. Why would you write something if you don't care if anyone reads it? What is even the point?
2. I am reading what you write, there is no if about it. Act accordingly. Write for your audience of one. This is how conversations work. There are two people.

@Eris I said what precicely I care about when writing, learn to read, lean english yada yayda

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius
>I said what precicely I care about when writing, learn to read, lean english yada yayda
Only concerned with what you care about, not what we care about.

@Eris yes I care about what I care about, and that's what I tell when you ask me what I care about

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius Seems pretty psychopathic. Are you aware that other people are also people, like you are?
@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius Shouldn't you care about what others care about then when you interact with them?

@Eris not when you ask me what I care about... you asked me what I care about I answered, otherwise I'm not particularly willing to share my whole philosophy with you... you followed me, so just wait and see
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius
>not when you ask me what I care about...
You're establishing a new context which we weren't operating in order to tactically draw a weird distinction to avoid just acknowledging me as right, out of a weird obsessive desire to be disagreeable.

@Eris right about what? that I'm evil? i never disputed that... @AR-15 @bonifartius

@Eris can't wrap your head around it can you mu righteous friend? Again you may wait and see. I talk here once in a while.
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@Eris I'm afraid no matter what I say, the only thing that's important for you is what you want me to say...
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @Eris @bonifartius Yes, I want you to answer my question even though it's beyond superfluous for me to ask at this point.

@AR-15 Stop misinterpreting my words, I meant you want me to say something specific you have in mind. Not only I don't know what you have in mind, I'm not even particularly curious in this instance.

@Eris @bonifartius

@namark @Eris @bonifartius I want you to say either yes or no. I don't care which.

It's ludicrous how much you get frustrated when we take you at your word. Especially when you have repeatedly said you care more about style than substance, and that you don't care how we interpret your words. Crazy how the only interpretation you don't want us to take is the obvious one. The normal one.

@AR-15 I would suggest you to study the logical structure and definition of dichotomy or equivalence relations in general, then define me one that I can recognize. But that would be beneath your dignity I presume.

@Eris @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

I read this post and I translate its words to "I am smart, and cool, and you are not smart, and beneath me. Therefore, I have a valid excuse to not be reasonable with you. Please accept this excuse and go away."
Am I understanding you correctly?

@Eris no I'm saying look up terms dichotomy and equivalence relation, try to study them and see how they apply in this context
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

Why not jus ttell me how they apply in this context? Why do you make me guess what you think instead of just typing it?

@Eris Cause it is too broad and expansive subject and I'm sadly not your tutor.
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

Make your points as broad and expansive as you can manage to express, otherwise you're not actually making them.
Follow

@Eris if you are not making any effort to understand me, and I have to chew everything up for you, then you will never understand me... or perhaps in time by accident
@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

> if you are not making any effort to understand me,
We ask you a simple yes or no question that should be easy to answer and you say I don't know.
How do we try to understand nothing at all?
@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

"I can't answer that" is not an answer. It's the exact opposite of an answer.

@Eris I'm sorry I doubted the absolute of dichotomy. Of course everything in this world is dichotomy. I couldn't even say I don't know, even if I wanted, what happened didn't happen, as it is impossible for it to happen. Or maybe instead just cope. Or regurgitate some more of that religion of yours.

@AR-15 @bonifartius

@namark @AR-15 @bonifartius

>I'm sorry I doubted the absolute of dichotomy.
Some dichotomies are absolutely true and doubting them is silly and you should apologize for absurdly trying to doubt them.

There is no third answer to "is there a pandemic?" There literally either is or isn't. It is a dichotomy. Please explain to me how it can possibly not be. Please explain to me what is hard about answering this question?
Here, I'll do it: No, there is not.
See? It's not hard. You are allowed to think something for yourself, it doesn't have to be an "all known fact." It can be what you think. Tell us what you think. You have our permission.
