We can't make this up. The Supreme Court of the USA is so badly bent, it's not even funny.
The Atlantic has a fresh article discussing possible outcomes for a November pandemic election... #xp

But their Wisconsin Republican mass-murder-at-the-ballot election coverage? Chef's kiss. The epitome of "Ha ha, only serious."

@design_RG how did the governor of Ohio succeed in blocking? same situation. No opposition?
@obi Going from memory here (I don't live in the USA or follow their news daily) but I think it was a state where the primaries were delayed?
(found this news item - delayed to June 2 : https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/ohio-moves-postpone-person-primary-amid-covid-19/story?id=69627248 )
Here the supreme court intervened to deny an extension of time to allow people to mail in their ballots (originaly decided as allowing upt to one week delayed postmarking after the election date).
@design_RG Oh ok. Yeah, governor of Ohio overruled and shut down voting until after June, Wisconsin governor did the same but he was overruled by supreme court. My only guess is that no one pursued overturning the Ohio Governor.
@design_RG I agree.
