@BigDogBo I still think following hastags for interests and following people from those is probably the best for the average person.

@HikerFromVA You can't really follow websites (instances) just the people in them. You can search for them from the search box, it searches across instances federated with your instance. If you want to follow an entire website (instance) you should join it. Other option is just to watch the federated timeline. But it's a lot to handle.

@bykimbo When I was a kid, I can still remember seeing this painting at my Papa's (mother's father) house. Then, after his passing, at my mother's house. Now it's at my mother's newer house. I have always been obsessed with it and after she passes she's made it clear it will go to me. It's the only piece of Art that I have wanted to "own". My Papa got it from his aunt, she bought it on a trip to France. I once tried to find the artist, but with conflicting results. It's signed Pauiin '42. Can't find a good photo of it, but my wife had one with it in the background.

@BigDogBo I think I first in April 2017 on hostux.social, then joined cybre.space, toot.cafe, koyu.space, fosstodon.org, mastodon.social, mastodon.com, and a few others. Mainly use this account and newly mastodon.radio now. When you join, you see more from the instance. I think if you just follow someone from another instance, you can see what they post, and what their contacts post, but not the entire timeline of that instance, unless you use qoto's feature of following a specific instances timeline. I don't know of any other instance that can do it.

@BigDogBo Federated timeline is a lot to take in. So many messages coming thru. Luckily qoto supports adding columns from other instances's timelines. I don't know of any others that do. But there are so many ways to go about this. I like having a few instances so I don't miss some of my interests. That's why I like having mastodon.radio, and mastodon.social is good to have for a more main stream time line.

@BigDogBo Also, I really love Sengi for desktop. They don't support qoto's fork of mastodon, so I use it for my other fav instances. Great for multi-account.

@BigDogBo Yeah, Tusky works fine, no complaints at all actually.
No iPhone for me! I'm an open source guy. If it wasn't for a few games, this desktop sure the F wouldn't be on Windows ha

@BigDogBo For mobile? Tusky. But I am typically in the column view on my desktop, or laptop.
U?

@BigDogBo @HikerFromVA I usually punch, but with this shape had to v-cut. Amazing draw and cap stability with v-cut

@HikerFromVA @BigDogBo LA Aroma D Cuba, Pasion. By the Garcia's, of course, Nicaraguan Puro. I think I'm gonna order everything I can in these Toro box pressed, and v-cut them. Amazing experience.

@freemo This really must be just me having problems, I'm sorry. But your instance ticker seems to disappeared for me. Tried a bunch of the other themes with it to get it back. Is it just me?

@HikerFromVA Hey, friend. Things are always nicer here 😀 . Here, have a verified badge :verified:

@AnnTelope When I got my Secretlabs chair, I had to dish extra money which made it like $750 for the XL ha

@anson Yeah, I've never seen it anywhere in any instance settings or anything.

@anson Instances used to put it on their about pages. Not sure if they still do, or just some do.
