@trinsec @ceoln @tripu social.bbc/@BBC5Live/110815653 Some posts like this result in 500s (to reproduce, put the URL in the search box), but the profiles seem to appear in search now.

@poppamunz I don't think there is one where it is all in one place (as the text changes periodically, although not in a manner which actually eliminates the underlying problems), but Tech Freedom's submissions, and some of @evangreer's posts might be helpful.

Hope that helps.

@Fayedray@mastodon.social @charliejane Since you are being exceptionally rude (and behaving a conspiratorial manner), I am going to block you.

@Fayedray@mastodon.social @charliejane The conservative Heritage Foundation has literally said that when this bill passes they expect to be able to use it.

@Fayedray@mastodon.social @charliejane Someone could construe the language pertaining to psychological harms to mean that (among other things which may well sanitize the hell out of the web to make it "suitable for little kids").

There is also a chilling effect, in that a platform may go well further, than what an enforcer might actually do at any particular time.

Also, the "European model" relies an awful lot on the enforcer being nice (something you should never, ever assume).

Also, this statute is open to being enforced by every Republican state attorney general.

torrentfreak.com/sci-hubs-alex Sci-Hub's founder Alexandra Elbakyan to receive award from EFF for helping open science (even if it's in a way that the big publishers really don't like).

@trinsec @tripu This one has given me an error before for a couple of instances, although it usually just works, so that is weird.

@trinsec @tripu Entering a URL for a specific post doesn't give an error either.

@trinsec @tripu It doesn't give an error which is interesting.

When you've seen so many anti mass surveillance posts alongside English ones that you start to learn German words, lol.

This feels so strange.

Psychologist Dr. Liadh Timmins from Swansea University in the United Kingdom is doing research into how social stigma impacts the mental health of asexual people.

She is looking for people to participate.

Also, someone is going to be released sooner or later.

Being locked up in solitary all the time is going to make it even harder to adapt, especially if they have some kind of mental disability.

They're already being punished and serving their time by being in the prison.
