I hope Mastodon doesn't have to sync every post in order to function properly. What sort of incompetent buffoon designs a software like this...
I'm told that Mastodon is a notoriously fussy software, so I suppose that explains the current issues with stability here.
@hesgen He mentioned he was going to do in a couple of posts on here, although I suppose it's an easy one to miss.
They were also posting updates each day on the qoto.org website when the site was down. It appears they did a move to another host, then they tried to do an update, and that went wrong, and got rolled back.

@skyblond Curiously, I got a notification for the like but not for the reply.
I think it is likely the "home feed" and "notifications" are currently broken.
Outwards federation appears to be broken.

Apparently, there was a bit of a ruckus about spam.
Maybe, if a new account posts the same thing five times, then maybe, it could be prevented from continuing to do so for a few hours.
That said, "anti-bot" measures can often be more effective at preventing actual humans from using a site.
