simonmiraudo.com/ This guy is writing a book about Australian movie censorship.

@evilroda They're capable of doing it, it likely just sounds like work.

My Twitter account(the THIRD one) used to be my home, i only get attention with my Drawings for Anime Character Birthdays and my memes... then 3 days ago by the morning, Twitter suspended my account for no apparent reason!(is Twitter hating creativity and Comedy now?)

i know my account only lasted 600 days until my suspension! then i must file my appeals so Twitter Support can review it and give me reasons... i needed my account to be restored!😢

Today is the 25th anniversary of Serial Experiments Lain! The first episode aired July 6, 1998. I have started a week to week rewatch! Should be interesting, when I watched it previously, I would marathon the whole show in a day. #anime #serialexperimentslain

@falcon QOTO has a 65k character limit, although I dunno if it's your kind of instance.

I'm sure there are other ones though.

Do you think the FTC should be chasing OpenAI over "inaccurate information" in ChatGPT? It seems like over-reach to me.

@freemo Oh, I haven't seen a whole lot of those instances on here... Hmm. I have guesses as to which ones they are.

Censorship of games in Australia. So petty, so unwarranted, and so stifling.

A reminder and a warning against things like .

Of course, it isn't simply that is bad for LGBTQ communities (which of course it is), but that it is likely to stifle all sorts of mature discussions which adults would like to have, and which are actually very important to have.

Or anything which might be construed as "mature".

Bad Internet Bills -- a pair of polls

Since it was brought up, I'm not keen on circumcisions, I see it as an archaic tradition, however, if someone consensually does it, that's their own business.

@LouisIngenthron I'm not a fan of circumcisions (it's an archaic ritual) or the involuntary surgeries done on intersex children around birth (they're often for the worse due to this).

By the way, these bills you mentioned have exemptions for these very cases involving intersex children.

To follow up with Julie's current (or maybe former?) advisor, he has been actively encouraging Q like activities where someone paranoidly runs around looking for "evil" everywhere.

He also invoked a virtue signaller's fallacy, where if a child abuser (an unpleasant crime) worked somewhere, then a virtue signalling position should be taken, rather than a rational one.

This isn't a new phenomena. It's been going on for a few years now.

"Amigo Kebab Simulator"

Australia has banned quite the strange game now. It is one where you run a run-down shop and sell rat burgers, among other things.

Apparently, it contains "references to drugs", therefore the ban. So silly.
