This is really scary: one of the most popular open sourced self-driving car datasets has been missing labels for hundreds of pedestrians and dozens of cyclists for years, and nobody has noticed.
This is how people get run over.

Parts of culture I don't get:
- astrology
- wrestling
- honestly even an astrology-themed wrestler would be more interesting than either on their own
- oh damn they could say things like "I'm ascendant", or "Aquarius is falling" and then land on you
- ....I like wrestling now??

In 1896, New York passed a law that alcohol could only be served on Sunday if it was with a meal.
New York taverns then started "selling" inedible sandwiches (served with a drink).
The waiter would collect the sandwich at the end of the meal, and serve it the next customer.
Here @lewisandclark@twitter.com, we teach that in CS2. *inspects cuticles*

Durin@lewisandclark@twitter.comndergrad and master's at Stanford, nobody -- not a professor, not a TA -- told me about unit tests. I learned about it from someone who went to a school whose name I had never heard of.
Apparently, you donβt need to know about testing to get fancy internships.

I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this.
