pyproject.toml is not an alternative to setup.py.

From my experience writing INI files, they are surprisingly hard to use.
We know there's a lot of competition in this space, and appreciate your continued patronage of dateutil.easter.

It's like saying, "You shouldn't use tires, you should use axles!" They serve entirely different purposes.
