I'm giving a lighting talk about gh-profiler this evening. If you've been curious about it, come to the lightning talk session at 5:45!

#PyconUS

Look, last-minute Łukasz at #pyconus reporting here that there is a last-minute talk on Sunday at 2:30pm worth attending!

PEP 810 co-author Brittany Reynoso will be talking about lazy imports!

This talk reminds me of these gorgeous floppy disks I got from pizzelpodcast.com

There's a long and interesting story behind these, but each of those disks has an hour-long podcast on it.

One of them also has an audio player for the format that the podcast is encoded in, plus a 15-minute bonus podcast, plus some extras.

It is seriously impressive. I'm planning to have them framed.

Can't believe there is a laser cats themed slide here and I chose the wrong loud Hawaiian shirt to wear today!

Really shocked that flask and all its dependencies fits on a floppy disk TBH.

Not even remotely surprised that @psobot gave yet another amazing talk this year.

I'm super excited to talk about the Rust for CPython project at 1:45PM today in Room 103ABC.

Hope to see you there!

Upwards of 5 people in this room running their code with DeprecationWarnings on Python

Strongly agree with @geofft about testing against Python betas!

Apparently there is a Hot Topic across the street from

I don't think I would have predicted in the 90s that Hot Topic would outlast Radio Shack.

Juggling open space today at 3:45 (start of the afternoon break) in the hall outside room 103.

Join us, we will teach you! No one has ever regretted it!!

Charging my headphone and my phone so i can experience Pablo Galindo's keynote at #pyconus on Sat May 16 @ 9 a.m. with all the fun audio translation!

I'm speaking at PyCon US tomorrow! Come learn why the PyLadiesCon team said "No more spreadsheets" and what we've been building instead using Python and Django.

I don't speak much Spanish, but today I still get to help at Las Charlas track as a session chair, and I also staffed at the Python en Español booth because they didn't have enough volunteers.

Thankful for this opportunity.
Thanks to Denny Perez and Andres Pineda who reviewed my Spanish pronounciation beforehand!

Everyone skipping this talk is missing out. Another banger from @mahmoud.

Si habláis español, os animo a que vengáis a mi charla hoy, viernes 15 de mayo, a las 14:00 en la sala 104C, donde voy a hablar de zonas horarias.

hey folks,

we're super short on volunteers tomorrow (May 15) at #PyConUS. We're seeing 50% empty shifts for green room volunteers, session runners and chairs.

If you have a talk session to wish to see tomorrow, why not double up and help out by being a session chair for that time?

Ayer me enteré de que esto existe y ahora vuestro TL queda bendecido por el pulpo dumbo. Bona nit.

If you find yourself at LAX trying to figure out why the pickup place for Uber/Lyft is like a million miles away, it is because there is a shuttle that you need to take to get a ride share.

Very sorry to the Chinese Lyft driver trying to explain this to me via a translation app.

Anyone have a Fitbit charge 6 charger and at #pyconus ? If so, can I borrow it for a few hours? Thank you 🙏

Mfw I'm trying to cut down my talk and I realize I can't avoid saying "línea internacional de cambio de fecha" (international date line).
