Dopo le Smart City dagli USA, il nuovo modo con cui i comuni vogliono applicare forme di controllo ai cittadini è ispirato dall’esperienza Cinese: sistemi a punti per incentivare i comportamenti virtuosi e sanzionare quelli indesiderati.
Per ora in via di sperimentazione in forme diverse a Roma, Bologna e Ivrea, questi sistemi raccolgono dati sui cittadini e implementano sistemi di ricompense e penalità con gravissime criticità evidenziate da Andrea Daniele Signorelli su Wired:
- Violazione della privacy
- Discriminazione
- Arbitrarietà dei comportamenti da incentivare
