@ravenclaw I would consider it to be rude to assume english to be default on the federated multiverse, with some users regularly connected to multiple instances. I can understand/sympathize with the frustration at having to repeatedly confront language barriers on a regular basis.

@ravenclaw Just need an option to auto mute by language. Auto muting bots and possible bots (high posts per day) would also be a nice feature. I thought the whole point of this was to keep most censorship to the end user. I don't want anyone censoring what I can just mute myself. If someone isn't posting in english, they've chosen to be muted by those that only speak english, IMHO.

@Diptchip that's a good suggestion. But i think you missed my points. 
The reason why i said it was "douchey" is because.
To able to communicate with other people outside your bubble.
(Unless you don't want to l, which is fine by all means.
But think about the bigger picture)
You need to estabilish some set of rules.
And using the most used and well known language should be the first rules.
