@realcaseyrollins because a case easily doubles or triples the size and are ugly as hell. If your going to use a case why even bother with a nice looking phone at all.

@realcaseyrollins
The same reason somebody likes to be naked at home. it's comfortable. but they should wear clothes when they are outside.

@freemo

@realcaseyrollins

Well yea but two things..

1) If your careful it wont be damaged, at least not often or easily...

but more importantly 2) if it gets a scratch sure it may make it not look as nice, but so does a case. So I'd rather have a phone that looks sexy for a few months or years then looks ugly than getting a case and garunteeing it looks ugly from day one :)

@Sphinx

@freemo @Sphinx These are fair points. But any damage will compromise water resistance, which I care about.

@realcaseyrollins

Unless you drop it in the water your phone is probably fine. With that said im not sure many cases would protect you if dropped in water either.

@Sphinx

@freemo @Sphinx Ohh I meant for phones with water resistance lol

So if I get a phone with water resistance, a single crack would probably kill that

@realcaseyrollins

Actually no, hairline cracks arent likely to have much of an effect on resistance. Surfacetension of water wouldnt allow it to geth through a single crack. Large cracks or chips though certainly I would agree.

In over a decade I dont think i ever had that large of a crack on my phone though. I've never used a case and the worse I've ever had happen was a few scrapes here and there, only once did i get a crack but it was hairline and minor.

@Sphinx

@freemo @Sphinx Perhaps when I get richer I'll try going caseless.
