There should be a range of kitchen appliances — toasters, microwaves, fridges, etc — where the opaque plastic casing is replaced with transparent, just for the pure aesthetic wonder

There isn't because there isn't enough demand. If you really wanted it, you'd have to 3d scan said plastic housings/covers and have them 3d printed with a translucent filament. Or become an expert glass blower.

Yeah, just take it apart, have the parts scanned- and reprint them in the color of your choice. Can't say it may/may-not be safe to use when cooking/eating though.
