found out about the voyager via this guy's video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dg2TT1OJlQs
the magnetic accessories seem like a great idea. i've got a pretty nice setup already with quick release tripod mounts, but if i were starting over, this does seem like the ticket.
i've been using a moonlander the last few months and have gotten pretty used to it. i actually do use multiple keys on both thumb clusters, but they *are* too far from the rest of the keyboard for me, so i adopted a weird layout w/ the keys shifted inwards ("b" on thumb cluster)
just realized zsa's got a new keyboard out! "voyager": https://zsa.io/voyager/
looks pretty good! less bulky than their other keyboards, and i bet the thumb clusters are way easier to reach than on moonlander or ergodox.
@jeremiah not sure! haven’t been since i was a teen, but we are planning to hit it up this winter
Today's dose of "cool use of 3D on the web" is interactive CT scans of various USB-C cables!
finally put the #kei truck’s roof racks to work today toting wood for a ramp i (thought i) needed to load a cast iron stove i got at auction in dundas ($30 including chimney!)
@Parienve @kmeisthax @pluralistic i’ve tried duckduckgo but these others are new to me!
i have basically 2 modes of writing when messaging folks. sometimes it’s like a switch flips in my head and i toggle from this mode (w no capitalization and limited punctuation) to…
This! Much more proper and professional. And my vocabulary switches to become more formal as well! Sometimes I don’t even realize I’ve switched during a conversation with someone. I imagine it could be quite jarring for them at times.
@kmeisthax @pluralistic oh! i wondered if i was getting worse at googling, but maybe my old google-fu just isn’t with the times anymore!
@Baley oh! is that why orange was chosen? huh, i hadn’t heard this before.
