apparently there is something trying to do just this! https://www.vidangel.com/
haven’t tried it, and they don’t support all the streaming services right now, but seems promising!

@levisan yeah, suppose so. they used to make clean versions of movies so they could be shown on planes or certain TV stations, that sort of thing. but a lot more radio
helped @whateveryouart move a couch to his art studio in a snow squall today. not the heaviest nor the longest, but probably the biggest thing i’ve put in the kei truck so far!
@lpacheco @codinghorror me too 😅
some of the music streaming services do have clean versions of albums, which i appreciate. but no video streaming services? i know multiple people whose dads hand-censored their VHS movies so the kids could watch too, and dads are still dads, so seems like there'd be demand
@levisan ah maybe that’s why i had that impression — one of my best friends from university is frisian, so no actual hate here
@levisan is the label in question “frisian”? bc you frisians are all the same
@jeremiah hah, not sure if that would make a difference since it’s about clearance from combustible materials, but maybe. they do have an exemption if its a small cooking fire (but you can’t just bring out some marshmallows and say a campfire is for cooking)
listening to some excellent greek folk music on radio garden https://radio.garden/listen/rempetikogialigous/8acC7-K2
@jeremiah hopefully! illegal to have backyard canpfires here anymore, so am aiming to get around it with an indoor wood stove that’s open to the outdoors by having one of the walls open up
@jeremiah and that scrap i just added — hoping to build a shack in our lil backyard with a wood stove
found out about the voyager via this guy's video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dg2TT1OJlQs
the magnetic accessories seem like a great idea. i've got a pretty nice setup already with quick release tripod mounts, but if i were starting over, this does seem like the ticket.
i've been using a moonlander the last few months and have gotten pretty used to it. i actually do use multiple keys on both thumb clusters, but they *are* too far from the rest of the keyboard for me, so i adopted a weird layout w/ the keys shifted inwards ("b" on thumb cluster)
just realized zsa's got a new keyboard out! "voyager": https://zsa.io/voyager/
looks pretty good! less bulky than their other keyboards, and i bet the thumb clusters are way easier to reach than on moonlander or ergodox.
