Sounds like it would be awkward to read. Maybe instead do that thing Japanese does where you write kana over kanji. Or write them in different colours.

Why would you chop up the sentence circles into 12 evenly spaced sections? Does each sentence only contain 12 logograms, no more, no less?
That can't be right as previously he identified a logogram as being bigger than 1/12.
