Did some biking today. I found myself pretty hard to finish 20KM. Today I rode 19.31KM in 58 minutes, and I'm so tired.
I miss the old me from 6 months ago who can ride 35KM in 2 hours and still feel that's not enough.
@freeschool The terrain here is fairly flat, so 20 or 35km is pretty okay for casual exercises. I generally ride bike in summer. The winter is too cold and I stay indoor so there are basically 6 months off. And I'm gradually working my body up. Usually, in the late July or August, I can handle 20km pretty easily and will challenge 35km.
@skyblond Have to say something about some winter day works (maybe less sweat / keeps body cooler).
Also maybe as "Wim Hof" mental type of effect you keep going more mentally in cold...
Interesting to hear though... I often like some target (I used to visit my friends "to see if they were in" else say hi to their parents and job back!
@skyblond Ma Huang might help with the endurance. Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine are wonderful molecules in times of need.
@skyblond Same terrain? Usually it's about when you feel for things that you can smash it...
(was that the case in doing the 35Km?)
