Talking about battery...
I knew the battery was swollen again when I realised that the touchpad on my laptop wouldn't press down.
I like Razer's laptop. It's powerful, lightweight, and it looks cool. But the battery. Ahhh! Why?
Gonna order a new one and hopefully the old one don't burn down my house.

And I start doing some "investment". Gold is one part of the plan and it's already growing in value. That's a good start, I think
Then I got the hard question: When should I sell it? Too early I'll lose some profit, and too late I'll probably lose more.
Gosh, making money with money is so hard.

Recording everything to homebank and then notice I spent a lot of money this month.
I assume it's normal? Since a lot of things can be better and those expenses are one-time only. I don't have to buy a new nuc and monocular every month. And I expect the expenses in the next month will drop back to normal. I hope.
And just notice all my keyboard and mouse are Bluetooth only. I need to find a usb keyboard to install Linux.
Maybe I should subscribe to SLED? So when the system breaks, I can yell at them instead of blaming myself and try to fix it desperately?

Ordered an Intel NUC13ANHi7. Gonna make it as my current workstation, well, for work.
Razer really needs to think about their cooling system. Room temperature is currently 25C, and the fan is screaming at full speed, and the CPU is still overheating.
And when the laptop constantly overheats, the battery is going to start swelling up, like a balloon, but much worse. I have replaced the battery 2 times and really don't want to do it again. Especially the part of dealing with the broken battery, the energy in those broken batteries is really scary.
I just hope there is an app that can hijack the keyboard and screen to automatically convert my clear text into encrypted text before I send it, and decode it automatically when I receive it. No need to fancy e2e that kind of stuff. Just encryption.

I know there are a lot of things to watch out for when talking about encryption and keys. But in my humble opinion, simple encryption can prevent at least 50% of the unintended leaks. For the rest, you got fancy tools like E2E, rotational keys, etc.

Someone introduced Beeper to me: https://www.beeper.com
It can support 14 different IM apps and manage them in one app.
It's technically good, but I don't trust it, 1) not all IMs are e2e encryption, 2) if this beeper account gets hacked, then all of my messages are doomed.
It does have an option to self host, but at least for the Android app you need to register an account.
I'll keep an eye on it.

Great, it's not the bank's fault. Some extension in my Chrome breaks that. And everything is fine after I switched to a clean firefox.

**I have a job now!**
I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.
Anyway, if you want to follow me, I'm glad to see you. And, have a nice day.
