**I have a job now!**
I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.

連勞動部都這樣，也太恐怖了。
最近跟老闆去拜訪某一家公司，我在車上提到台積電美國廠良率比台灣高的新聞，他就不想信，還罵西方人太懶，不會凌晨3點跑工廠維修機台，不論事情有多緊他們還是會先把咖啡喝完才動手（這就是我為什麼反對張忠謀的「個人崇拜」）。開會時，我們的夥伴一講到他們公司正在考慮在國外設廠（在日本或是英國），又開始抱怨希望是在日本，因為英國人什麼都不懂，跟他們合作太累。
台灣的工作文化真是需要改革。

鼓励型友好工作环境至少能让效率提升一倍，不要想去改变他人，要去选择他人。不要想着去适应环境，要去选择环境。
适应环境是个很大的消耗，你在不停的对抗不友好的话，用在真正做事的精力就会变很少。妈的换了个同事工作环境简直天壤之别。

@lucifargundam I think the sponsors are another important thing to consider. Most of the sponsors, and the major contributors are US-based. So I won't be surprised if in the future the Linux kernel has some privacy and security issues based on the current situation. With that said, I still believe in FOSS and I think the worst thing is Linux kernel start rejecting patches from certain regions and people start forking and maintaining their own state-sponsored kernel.

Some Clarity On The Linux Kernel's "Compliance Requirements" Around Russian Sanctions

@causa_arcana Thanks for that. I'm planning to run it in a vm first, or boot up with a USB drive. So should be fine I guess?
@AmpBenzScientist Thanks for the answer! ECC, to me, feels more like an insurance. Generally you don't need it, but when you do, you will be glad to have one. With my old NAS, I do have DDR3 ECC RAM, which is fairly cheap nowadays.
(BTW my old nas has dual E5 2695v3, which I can't run it 7x24 because it will literally blow up the electric bill and the single core performance is not that good)
However, for my new NAS, I decide to go with DDR5 and DDR5 ECC requires at least workstation hardware... And it's not cheap (not to mention that I'm in China and brands like ASUS don't sell workstation motherboard to individual consumers). So I guess for now I'll stick with non-ECC and do my best with backups.
@lucifargundam Well, today I'm a little bit in the debate mood, mixed with some idealism. So I'm sorry if my opinions annoyed you :)
Generally speaking, I think Linux kernel is an international project, and is advertised like that several times in the past. In this case, if the government law doesn't align with the project's principle, then IMO it should move to another country. Just like the RISC-V International Association.
But in practice, I think both Linux Foundation and Linus Torvalds don't bother with such things. Especially Linus Torvalds, judged on his past behaviour.
@causa_arcana Thanks! Today I start looking into FreeBSD. Although most of my servers are running Linux and will likely keep running Linux in the future until Linux starts causing real security and privacy issues.
Anyway, I'm still feeling happy about BSD. At least we're not fully hijacked by the Linux kernel.
