I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.

Hey, Fedi admins, go right now and check to make sure that you have caps/limits set on your Object Storage provider so they just stop serving you images instead of charging you $3,000 because some random person in Europe decided to scrape your instance.

Just FYI #QOTO is blocking servers as spam comes in. We will unblock once those servers have resolved their issues, if they resolve them.
Also we will be reattempting our migration and upgrade sometimes in the next two days. Likely to be a full day of down time but with some major improvements on the other end.

这两天看了一堆日本历史上著名八甲田山难的资料，越看越觉得毛骨悚然。就是两百多号人在一个不算特别深的山里遇到风雪，所有人鬼打墙走不出去，后来基本全员被活活冻死的事件。然后我随便搜了一下就发现这个山特别出名的景观就是这个树冰，看起来好瘆人啊，结合山难事件里所有军人都是站着活活冻死的，真的冬天去会被吓死啊…

ZLUDA lets you run unmodified CUDA applications with near-native performance on AMD GPUs. This project is funded by @AMD and 100% opensource. It looks like nobody (HAMs) knows why the law changed in this way.
Now I'm feeling threatened.
Just didn't get this new amateur radio law.
There are three levels of licensing: A for VHF and UHF, B for A + HF, C for additional power. Normally you get A for VHF and UHF, then you get B for all bands, then get C for 1KW shortwave.
The new law reduced the shortwave power limit (B) from 100W to 15W, but for people like me who got their license before this new law, we can still use 100W. I just can't figure out why. Everything else is the same (C can still use 1KW).
Also, the licenses are for humans. You need a separate license for your devices. The device licenses are now needed to be approved by national agency if you want more than 15W, which takes 3 to 5 months instead of good old 1 month.
