Well, more accurately speaking, you need to bind your identity to reply. And your reply to the news (well, they didn't define what is news, let's wait for that) will be reviewed before it can be published.
For everything other than news, you can reply, but they will moderate it, without saying what rules they would use.
Anyway, I don't want to point out everything for you (of course I don't, I'm physically in China). Here is the source (Chinese). Help yourself:
The Chinese government recently start moderating replies, which require you to link/bind your account with your legal identity before you can send any replies. And those replies need to be "reviewed" before they can be published to others.
Also, they said the "like button" is a variant of reply, so it needs to be moderated too.
Any platform that doesn't enforce this will be forced to close/blocked/disappeared.
Disclaimer: I'm a Chinese. I'm a programmer. I know nothing about laws. I have never been to America before. I referenced some law concepts and I did my best to ask google to explain those terms to me, so I could understand them better and use them correctly as possible as I can.
If I got something wrong, like I have a misunderstanding of freedom of speech, the idea of utopia, etc., let me know.
(Yeah, let me know, in a nice and polite way, do I need to actively remind people? Do I need to require people to dm me their comments for review before they can post in the comment area? To comply with the "actively moderation" rule? Huh?)
From [joinmastodon](https://joinmastodon.org/covenant):
> Active moderation against racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia
Well, any definitions for "active moderation"? Server moderators are not law enforcement. They can't chase those people 7x24 unless you pay taxes to them.
> Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
But heck, you can't break other laws because of your freedom of speech. I think that's a piece of common knowledge, since it's unlikely to be a necessity. And that cannot be your excuse for committing harassment, discrimination, etc.
> Definition of necessity: A defense that permits a person to act in a criminal manner when an emergency situation, not of the person's own creation compels the person to act in a criminal manner to avoid greater harm from occurring.
What's the f*cking wrong with 2022? Why do people keep asking for a utopia? Could you just control yourself?
*If you really want someone constantly and actively moderate for you, then welcome to China. The government will like you, a lot. And a free tip: read 1984 and Brave New World before you move there.*

I spent hours on this cursed Minecraft build
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDyZWQOcDPM
Just in case anyone is curious it costs me a little over $1,200 a month to run QOTO and all its services.
Spent 10 hours on Minecraft today.
I was going to finish my code, but in the end of the day, I built a semi-afk sugarcane farm in Hypixel skyblock, which yields me ~1m coins for 9 hours, where I only need to press w or d (depending on me row) and hold the left click.
Considering I'm still in the end island (need combat level > 18), this is a pretty good money making way for early/mid game, right?
(I will finish the code tomorrow. I will, I promise.)
Interesting.

Fun fact: Technically there's no clock in the world that can show the actual "UTC time", UTC does not exist in real time, it's an idealized metric, calculated only from historical statistical data of an ensemble of atomic clocks around the world. The BIPM publishes it once per month in "Circular T". What is being showed by a clock is "UTC(k) time", where k is the lab responsible for this estimation. The US has at least three flavors of UTC: UTC(NIST), UTC(USNO) from U.S. Naval Observatory, and UTC(NRL) from Naval Research Laboratory. #electronics

#TIL Möbius resistor. Take a double-sided copper tape (with its top insulated from the bottom), and join the tape onto itself as a Möbius strip. Now you get an ideal current-sensing resistor with almost no parasitic inductance. The resistor behaves like two short-circuited microstrip transmission lines with continuous ground planes, with an input port always at the center. An extreme form of the "folding back the wire" technique for making non-inductive wire-wound resistors... Cool idea, but practically it probably isn't too useful... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6bius_resistor #electronics

**I have a job now!**
I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.
Anyway, if you want to follow me, I'm glad to see you. And, have a nice day.
