I just bought a Cosmo Communicator. It is a palm-top computer but also a cell phone. It also supports linux... this is going to be soooo epic.

@freemo Does it? I don't think that SoC has free drivers (certainly not mainline and the PMOS page is a mess.)
@swiley Yup, and the linux distro seems to fully support all the features, even that little LCD on the front you see when its closed.

@freemo It looks like they're using Halium ("libhybris") to me. It is nice to see a more popular smartphone manufacturer putting effort into Linux compatibility though.
@swiley im not sure this counts as a particularly popular smartphone manufacturer. Their past products hav emostly been PDAs
@swiley I dont think parents are tech savvy enough half the time to know the difference :)
