Good news: that old apple tree in an abandoned orchard in a nearby forest is blooming. Bad news: we expect freezing temperatures over the next few nights. Hope it survives – those apples are delicious.
@szescstopni My instinct is to do something like help it by wrapping it with some plastic material or setup up wind defences... but probably worse / useless / ineffective idea ?

@freeschool I don't know. It might work. It's just not practical in this case. That bloom was one of the lowest on the tree, at least 3 metres up.
