In the #construction industry #quadrupedrobots currently are in trend to help inter alia with autonomous monitoring. Besides #Spot from #bostondynamics we tested an a1 from #unitree. We definitely have to change the software on this one

Land is most expensive and is contributing to the real estate bubble, but at least for germany constructing houses is getting more and more expensive due to interest rates, labor shortage and missing materials… Hope we are able to change this trend soon. Hope prefab houses will be a thing in Europe

@Paulos_the_fog Sorry to hear you had to go through that but glad you recovered. Some people around me are trying to cope with the same long-Covid symptoms. They e.g are participating in studies now, too, to get any medical help to improve their situation. Some are carrying the symptoms for 1,5 years now.

Currently i and my collegues are trying to improve the sustainability in the construction industry, especially how to automate processes and develop decision making processes.

@barefootstache that is very true. So many softwares i tested just didnt make it over the years to receive further support.

For a variety of reasons, the #construction industry needs to be digitized. One is to compare GHG emissions for building materials as described in the UNIDO members article. Due to the major role that governments play the Industrial Deep Decarbonization Initiative pledges for a Green Public Procurement to encourage the manufacture of lower-carbon products.
