@freemo Moderate compared to actual positions, not absolutely. By panels:

1. Actual far-right position: People of other races should not be in my country at all, but if they have to they definitely shouldn't date whites.
Presented position: Personal choice to only date whites.
Actual far-left position: ??? Anybody can date whomever they want? Is this even a position at this point? I guess in countries without legal gay marriage it is, but not really related to race.
Presented position: Personal choice to only date non-whites.
2. Actual far-right position: People of other races should not be in my country at all, but if they have to I definitely wouldn't hire them because they are too stupid. (Latter might not apply to all races depending on the specific type of far-right you stumble upon.)
Presented position: Not employing non-whites. Reasoning missing.
Actual far-left (or rather far-progressive, but I assume we are treating these as synonymous in this case) position: In an environment of systemic racism and sexism people of color and women have lower chances of getting employed and this is a self-reinforcing problem, using quotas might help solve it.
Presented position: Some quip about colourful candy I assume. It sorta satirizes an argument I have actually seen, about diversity of perspectives bringing strength to companies (which as far as I can tell is a good argument, I have examples, but if you satirize it like that it only looks silly). Note that this panel has an unflattering satire of a (not the main) reasoning, while the other omitts any reasoning.
3. Actual far-right position: Yeah, this one is pretty accurate.
Actual far-left position: Islam is not inherently more violent than any other religion.
Presented position: Disregard any violence of muslims, also be condescending to them and assume they will commit violence because they are muslims.
4. Actual far-right position: People of other races should not be in my country at all. (I havent seen contemporary racists advocate for separate facilities for different races, but it might just be blissful ignorance. <_<)
Presented position: Separate facilities for whites and non-whites.
Actual far-left position: ??? No idea what could be related to the picture. The closest I can think of is unisex bathrooms, but that is the exact opposite of the picture.
Presented position: Separate facilities for whites and non-whites.
5. Actual far-right position: black people are inferior to whites, at the very least mentally.
Presented position: Extreme dislike for black people because of their skin colour.
Actual far-left position: White people should be aware of the systemic privilege they have over other people.
Presented position: Extreme dislike for white people because of their skin colour.

I don't fully agree with the far-left positions presented above, but they are clearly not equivalent to the far-right ones, unless you simplify them beyond recognition and soften the far-right ones.

Bleh, now I clearly spent too much time analyzing a shitty comic. ~.~

@schratze

@freemo They definitely don't want to make this a national policy, so the comic is presenting a moderate version of a far-right position, and equating it to a extreme version of a left position. And I'm pretty sure that's the closest of the panels to the truth, the others also seem to do at least that (downplaying the right position while making an exaggerated caricature of the left).
@schratze

@freemo I don't think the actually racist ones would, e.g. the first panel is literally the policy they favour. The third is literally the image they want to build of muslims (and that's true even for the not farthest right ones, see e.g. the official polish government's press conference that contained literal bestiality). Not sure about second and fourth. @schratze

@schratze @freemo Lack of understanding of the SJW position, as far as I can tell.

An engineer, a physicist and a mathematician find themselves in a joke, indeed a joke quite similar to many that you have no doubt already heard.

After some observations and rough calculations the engineer realizes the situation and starts laughing.

A few minutes later the physicist understands too and chuckles to himself happily as he now has enough experimental evidence to publish a paper.

This leaves the mathematician somewhat perplexed, as he had observed right away that he was the subject of a joke, and deduced quite rapidly the presence of humour from similar jokes, but considers this joke to be too trivial a corollary to be significant, let alone funny.

@wizzwizz4 That's true, but @wago makes a good point that these criticisms apply just as well to physical money, and perhaps even worse, since lost coins represent much more resources than assets lost on non-PoW blockchains. So they kind of miss the mark in this case, except for the part about PoW blockchains being extremely wasteful, which is a point made much better separately.

@mkljczk @polamatysiak No, i tak powinny wyglądać wyniki następnych wyborów.

@wintrero Don't worry it's a slow process. First you accept your true gender and you won't even notice when you end up wearing programming socks and arguing about CPU architectures.

Now that I am properly trained in "Workplace Diversity, Inclusion & Sensitivity", I can conclude that this course offends me with its cultural biases and low level of cultural competency, by falsely assuming that my name contains only ASCII characters.

@pillowcat Raisins on pizza. You can thank me later.

this reminded me of a joke website idea I had a while ago, where, if vivaldi's four seasons were to be stretched out across an entire year, which note would be playing

@schratze The keyboard in my laptop barely works now, but I bought an external mechanical one and just use that. It's more expensive, but also more durable, modular (as in you can use it for different computers), and, well, comfortable. Definitely was worth it for me.

@chjara @Paradox You just need running water. Fluid dynamics is Turing-complete.

@traabot Literally my mom to my brother. He is a trans guy tho, so wholesome.

lossless conversion? how about lossful conversion

@icedquinn I have actually seen it work well for some people, so... don't immediatey assume it won't work? Good luck anyway. @freemo

I just want you guys to know that the multiple *years* I've had my music on Spotify and iTunes have still made me less money than the first two weeks of the same albums on Bandcamp.
