For those using data repositories (e.g. Dryad, Zenodo, OSF, etc), do you have a preferred repository or do you change repositories depending on the use case?

If the latter, what factors dictate where you choose to share your data?

@tnarock depends on your field. And your goals. We use zenodo to get a DOI for a specific git repo release. We recently used gin.g-node.org/ based on a recommendation.

@jerlich thanks. I've also been using zenodo. Was curious to see pros and cons of others. gin.g-node looks interesting. I don't have the type of data to deposit there, but interested to read up on what they're doing
