Last weekend I signed up on this and two other instances. I might prefer qoto simply for its white background, or is that user-configurable?
@trinsec Found it, thanks. Standard does include “Mastodon light”.
@tonwood Ah neat. Then it's just up to you to decide which server's house rules and (optional) modifications you like more. :)
@tonwood Qoto also has a bunch of nice to have features like **markdown** and quote tweets, plus the very roomy 65k character limit.
@tonwood You can change the theme in the config, yes. Qoto's default is the bright theme. I don't know if a bright theme is included with standard Mastodon. But this is a modified instance anyway.
