I've been coughing for endless nights for over a week now. I've tested negative so far, but even then it's terribly unpleseant. I just want to breathe again.

and consideration of low bandwidth is still important today.

For reasons, I've recently not been able to have a constant internet connection, which has left me using light alternatives like ddg.gg/lite , , RSS, IRC. A refreshing experience.

Thanks all who add captions/descriptions to their images on the Fediverse.

Thanks for the great advice.

I've dabbled in fake trading very briefly, and even then I was super paranoid.

I absolutely believe you about your "successful mistake". The stochastic nature of it all... it just seems so nonsensical. I guess that's the most off putting part.

But I can't say for sure untill I've tried it. Even some old trader friends said they dropped out of university because it made financial sense.

Once again, thanks.

I hesitated asking about this because I suspected precisely what you said in your 2nd paragraph.

With that being said, I'm a physics undergrad (math heavy), experienced with Python, Golang, and programming in general, and I'm currently doing a machine learning course. So maybe it's something I should take a look at.

Do you think I should dive in?

A weblog about simple, useful software.

@sir No one cares, but in primary school, I remember being bored enough to create (and laminate, mind you) my own entire deck of cards based on the stealth video game Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, with PowerPoint.

The teacher thought I had contraband, clocked, then proceded to show my bare creation to the class. I thought I was done for, but then some girls were making their own decks. idk wth was happening but it was a good week.

@sir I'd say quality over quantity, but you write with both so :welp:
