@freemo Since QOTO bypasses the usual 500 char limit on toots, what happens when users on other mastodon servers access thos large toots? Do they just get the first 500 char?

I could just check for the character countdown to reach 65035, but I would love to to be able to limit myself to 500 automatically. Most of my communication and tooting is going to be with users on other servers.

@EubieDrew @freemo It's not an issue, they'll see everything. This server is hardly the only one with a large limit. Pleroma and some other platforms besides Mastodon also have large limits and default Mastodon interacts with them fine as well.
